THE UNFORGIVABLE
Movie with Sandra Bullock
Last night I watched the movie “The Unforgivable,” with Sandra Bullock in a very different role.
The movie is a psychodrama. I only watched it because I admire Sandra Bullock, and I was interested in seeing how she handled a non-comedic role. She was amazing. The plot was a bit ponderous and contrived.
The worst part of the movie was “John Boy,” the actor from “The Waltons...still looking like ‘John Boy’. Even if it was bad casting, whoever chose his wardrobe could have made him look like someone other than John Boy Walton. But I digress.
The movie is worth watching, not just to see Sandra’s really great acting, but because the real story is about false accusations and, beyond that, the willingness of someone who is falsely accused to bear the consequences of those accusations to protect another.
There are many of us.
